D.N.A. is calling on you to RUN FOR OUR SONS, a virtual 5K to raise awareness and to encourage mentoring boys of color

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, our youth need positive role models both male and female more than ever. Many are struggling with virtual learning, the absence of a structured school environment and extracurricular activities. Some no longer have adequate food or access to physical and mental healthcare. Through no fault of their own, many are isolated from friends, family and their extended support networks.

But we are not defeated!

D.N.A. stands ready to fill the gap and support our boys of color now, and you can help. Just RUN!

· Run to be a model example of self-motivation

· Run to show them how to care for their health

· Run to reassure them that even as racism and injustice are chasing boys of color, they are not in the race alone

· Run to invest in them becoming their best now and beyond when they have their own sons

Funds raised through Run for Our Sons will support additional virtual and safe socially distant programming; the purchase of masks, hand sanitizer, and other necessities; materials and equipment to assist with at-home learning; mental health awareness and support; and increased mentor recruitment.
