Little Black Book, the organizers of Monster Mash 5K Dash, have made the decision to cancel the race scheduled for October 31, 2020. This is the best decision that can be made for the quality of the run and the safety of the runners. We look forward to putting our best foot forward for 2021 and make the Monster Mash 5K Dash the best race yet. Be prepared to “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES” on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
Monster Mash 5K Dash
Dress up as your favorite ghoul and run through Wentzville’s Heartland Park!
The Halloween fun starts with the Monster Mash 5K Dash and Little Monsters 1 mile fun run. The course will be lined with not only your usual water stops but also candy stops for you to trick or treat along the way! As you run through Heartland Park you will have to watch out for the ghouls and zombies coming out of the shadows. If you would rather avoid the ghouls and zombies and run at your own location, you can register for our Virtual Monster Mash 5k Dash for $40. Your t-shirt, medal, and race swag will be mailed to your home. Dash your 5k distance from 10/30 - 10/31 and submit your time to be included on the leader board. Be sure to share a selfie of your virtual dash and costume at Facebook.com/monstermash5kdash
This is a rain or shine event.
Important Guidelines:
1. There will be no Registration or Packet Pick Up the day of the race. Please register online. Virtual registrations will receive their packet in the mail.
2. We will have staggered starts for all participants to allow for social distancing. Your grouping/wave will be communicated closer to the race.
3. There will be a Grab-and-Go Post-Race Breakfast for your enjoyment.
4. We encourage all participants to wear your masks before and after the Race as you walk around our Runner’s Village.
5. We ask to avoid large gatherings in small areas of our Runner’s Village if you choose to stay after the race.
