What We're All About!
ABOUT TINY HOOVES
Tiny Hooves Rescue is a farm animal rescue and sanctuary located in Union Grove, WI. We were founded in 2015 by Beca Thompson. Tiny Hooves provides home to 13 different species of farmed animals, and over 100 residents. We focus on the individual care of each of our residents - all have names, all have a story.
Tiny Hooves believes in living a compassionate, cruelty-free, vegan lifestyle. We provide educational tours and meet and greets with our residents, and educate the public on farm animal care, farm animal individuality, the facts of the animal agriculture industry, and veganism. Overall, we promote compassion and compassionate education.
We are not a petting zoo, we are a rescue and a sanctuary. Many of our animal residents have unfortunate and ugly pasts, and we help them heal socially, emotionally, and physically. We focus on their protection, happiness, and their retirement from being used as a product instead of a life. Tiny Hooves promotes positive change!
How to Help
Our animals greatly appreciate any and all donations! Being a non-profit organization, we do not make any profits doing what we love, nor would we want to - all of us enjoy giving our free time and getting our hands dirty for the rescue animals. All donations are recycled back into the costs of caring for the animals, whether it is bales of hay to feed the herd, new fencing to expand pasture space, enrichment, vet care, housing costs, etc. Each day we spend rescuing and rehabilitating animals rewards our souls, but unfortunately does not pay the bills.
We hope you will help, not just monetarily but by examples you set in defense of all animals. Tiny Hooves Rescue can't do this work without the wonderful continued support from you!
