Help Debra raise money

At over $70,000, my winery, Alma Rosa, is near its goal of raising $100,000 for mental health research and services. We are matching funds dollar for dollar through October 10, 2020, which is World Mental Health Day.

I have run out of descriptors for this enormously challenging year that launched with COVID and is continuing with serious wildfires everywhere along the west coast, most recently in Sonoma and Napa, where I have spent most of my adult life and wine career. If someone close to you has struggled with depression or anxiety or if the events of 2020 have underscored the importance of mental health to you and your family, I hope you will help me in my personal goal to raise funds.

The two beneficiaries are One Mind, which funds international research on the causes, treatments and cures for mental illness and Mental Wellness Center, which provides services, housing and education to people with a mental health diagnosis in Santa Barbara County. You are able to designate the beneficiary of your choice. Your donation will go directly to them, and you will receive a confirmation of your donation from them as well.
