The Illinois Valley Striders are hosting a virtual run to honor 9-11. This run will be open to run/walk either 9.11 miles or 9.11 kilometers virtually in an effort to remember those lost on 9-11-2001 and those first responders that we have lost during and since that tragic day. The run can be completed anytime and anywhere from September 4, 2020 through September 13, 2020. Bandanna pick up is currently scheduled to be in the Peoria Heights Tower Park on September 12, 2020 from 9am-10:30am.
The first 50 registrants will get an awesome tube bandanna with the graphic below.
The proceeds from this race will go to Run to Remember and COPS to honor our first responders.
We hope you will join us so that no American will forget the sacrifice and loss on this day.
