Raise money for Dreamfar High School Marathon
Dreamfar High School Marathon, New England's first and only high school marathon program, challenges high school students to reach their full potential - physically, socially, emotionally, and academically - through a mentor-supported marathon training program. Recognizing that life’s challenges are endless, Dreamfar uses marathon training as a metaphor for any teen willing to do something really important—to try. Dreamfar offers teens a judgment-free, non-competitive environment with incredible team unity, and unyielding support from dedicated volunteer mentors, in which they can test their physical, social, and emotional limits. Each successful run demonstrates the importance of physical activity, the value of hard work, and commitment. As students cross the finish line, they experience the impossible becoming possible, and are empowered to tackle any of life's challenges, forging a lifetime memory that lives on in their attitudes, actions, and self-image forever. Since its inception in 2008 Dreamfar has empowered over (1500 youth) from 22 high schools in the Greater Boston area.
