FLAG for CRANFORD 6K 6PK

FLAG for Cranford is excited to host the first ever 6K 6PK Race, the race is being held as a virtual 6K. Run or walk a 6K and receive a voucher for a 6PK (pack) of Dreyer Farm’s famous donuts!

Proceeds from this event will be used towards a fall breakfast program for Cranford students that meet the requirements for reduced lunch. We will be using the proceeds to buy gift certificates to Cranford restaurants who provide breakfast. These gift certificates will be given to the Board of Education office who can distribute to families.

The Front Line Appreciation Group for Cranford was started in March 2020 and was one of the 100+ FLAG groups formed around the country in response to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. It was initially established as a way to support Cranford restaurants while showing appreciation to frontline workers throughout New Jersey. The outpouring the group received was overwhelming. After raising over $100,000 in a few short weeks and enlisting the help of dozens of dedicated volunteers, ad decision was made to create a charitable organization that will continue serving the needs of the Cranford community.

You can complete the virtual run any time from September 22^nd through the 27^th and pick your own route to complete. When you have completed your run, you can either have your ASICs RunKeeper app automatically sync your time to the race registration site or manually enter your time.

Registered runners will receive a race t-shirt, while supplies last and a voucher for a 6 pack of Dreyer’s donuts. .

How it Works:

1. Sign up for the event any time between now and September 27^th
2. Plan your 6K (3.73 miles) route
3. Complete your run any time between September 22^nd and September 27^th
4. Submit your run time to the registration site or through your ASICs app
5. Post your photos to the FLAG for Cranford Facebook page
