Avon Grove Red Devil 5k - Virtual

October 4th Through October 17, 2020

Come join the Avon Grove community for this fun family event to support the Avon Grove High School Cross County teams. This years event will be a virtual event. Participants are encouraged to choose their favorite course, track your own time and record your finishing times via a google document that will be shared. Awards for top male and female as well as top 3 male and female runners in 10-year age groups. (Avon Grove Cross Country Team Runners are ineligible for awards). Race t-shirts for first 150 registered.

Registration Opens on September 4th. Once registered please plan your run for anytime between October 4th and October 17th to be considered for awards. Once your race is complete, please submit your time via google docs. Information to be provided after registration.

The funds raised will be used to supplement the cost associated with running a successful cross-country program as well as to enrich the AGHS running programs. Participating in a high school athletic program provides many benefits including establishing a healthy lifestyle at an early age, lower rates of diabetes and high blood pressure, and improved cardiovascular and pulmonary function. Participating in sports has also been associated with higher grades, an increase in self-confidence, self-respect, and leadership skills. Last year, we had a fantastic turnout for the race with nearly 200 registered runners and over 30 wonderful sponsors. This is a huge community event open to the public.
