HomeRun for Habitat 5K

Save the date! The 12th Annual HomeRun for Habitat Virtual 5k will take place October 16-18th this year.

Due to COVID-19, we are taking our race virtual! A Virtual 5K is a race you can run, jog, or walk anywhere you choose like the trail at Snowden Grove, on the treadmill, your neighborhood, or with family at one of DeSoto County's walking trails! We have some exciting things in the works to make this year's race special.

You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and earn the medal and receive your t-shirt! Get the whole family involved for a great cause. This event has become the largest of its kind in NW Mississippi with over 10,700 participants raising over $325,000 for the Hernando DeSoto Habitat for Humanity.

DeSoto County School Virtual 5K Team Competition Closed

The high school that raises the most money for Habitat for Humanity is the winner of the competition. On race day, the winning school will receive the Dave Bowden Memorial traveling trophy. Includes registration, virtual results submission, t-shirt, and finisher medal!
