RW x H+P 5k

This is a private event organized by RW for H+P. We will try to simulate race conditions with an official course and timing, while being safe with respect to distancing and contact.

Registration open: September 3 - September 14
Official rules announced: September 21
Opt-out period: September 21-22
Pain day: October 3 morning

Exact rules with respect to course, start time, timing scheme (small waves, TT, etc.) will be determined after we have a total participation count. After the rules are announced on September 21, participants will have the option to withdraw for full refund net of Race Roster processing fee if they are uncomfortable with the risks.

The course will be as fast as possible, while prioritizing safety. Expect it to be paved, with as little gain as possible, and with no spots where runners don't have the right of way. The Carmel Koch 5k is an example of a potential route.

This race is also a fundraiser for Run Waterloo. Souvenir triblend shirts are optional.
