12th annual Fulton Homes 12k's of Christmas Virtual event

Let’s get moving this Christmas Season! The 12k's of Christmas is excited to host the 12th annual 12k & 6k events virtually this year, open to all runners and walkers. We welcome you to lace up your shoes and complete your own 12k or 6k run wherever you'd like. A 1.2k virtual Dog Dash will be offered for our 12th anniversary for only $12 with proceeds benefiting local rescue shelters.
Your 12k and 6k registration include limited edition 12k's of Christmas SWAG. All 12k and 6k participants will receive a Custom 12k's of Christmas Medal, Santa Beard Buff, 12k's of Christmas Socks, Bib, Sticker, and Custom Naughty or Nice finishers certificate. Proceeds from this event benefit animal rescue. All 1.2k Dog Dash participants will receive a Custom 12k's of Christmas Bandana to share with your fur babies, bib, and a 12k's of Christmas sticker.
We thank all of the pet lovers who come out every year to the 12k’s of Christmas. Over the past 11 years, the 12k’s of Christmas has helped over 2,200 pets find loving homes. Plus we have donated over $100,000 to animal rescue.
Dates and Times
The deadline to register is November 25th. If you want to guarantee your SWAG to be delivered and arrive before December 12th. If not registration will end December 5th with no guarantee of delivery before the event date December 12th. You can complete the 12k or 6k events anytime between Saturday, December 12th, and Monday, December 14th. We encourage everyone to try and run on December 12th!!

How do I track my time and distance?
Track your time in whatever way works best for you! Mobile apps like Runcoach, Map My Run, and Strava are available to help you create your route and track your time.
Step 2: Choose your route - you may already have a favorite place to walk or run, but here are a few pointers and tips just in case:
- Run-on a treadmill
- Look for an established route - public parks or bike paths often have routes with pre-marked distances.
- Run around an athletic track -30 laps for 12k and 15 laps for 6k
- Use a route mapping website - A few options are Map My Run, Strava, Runcoach, USATF - America's Running Routes, or WalkJogRun.
Step 3: Sport your custom 12k's of Christmas Swag on December, 12th. Be sure to keep track of how long it takes you to complete your run or walk.
Step 4: Post your results to Raceroster.com by Monday, December 14th

What is a virtual race?
A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
How far do I have to run?
This is a 12k and 6k, which means you'll have to run (or walk) 7.4 miles for the 12k or 3.7 miles. for the 6k.
