My Story…
Hi Friends!
On November 14th I am participating in my first ever CrossFit fundraising event: 24 Hours of Heroes! I am hoping to raise money for Wounded Warriors Canada and National Service Dogs! Wounded Warriors is a national mental health service provider for veterans, first responders, and their families. NSD provides specially trained service dogs for children with autism and veterans with PTSD.
For anyone who knows me, beginning my CrossFit journey has been a pretty big deal for me. CrossFit, but more importantly BreakerStrength has offered me an incredible sense of community during a time where loneliness and isolation have become a new norm. This community has empowered me to push my body to limits I did not know I could achieve and allowed me to have fun while doing it.
I feel so grateful that I have had the opportunity to begin this journey and I want to do my small part by giving back to those who have selflessly sacrificed their safety and comforts and now need our support in return.
Please, please, help me reach my goal by sharing this post or donating a small gift to help give back during this crazy time. Any and all donations are welcomed and incredibly appreciated. Thank you for considering joining the movement in providing support and compassion for these amazing humans.
Donate to help Nicole raise money for 24 Hours of Heroes’s fundraising campaign.
