Old Santee Canal Park presents the 8th annual Tinsel Trot Holiday Fun Run/Walk at the site of America’s first canal in Moncks Corner, SC.
While everyone is invited to take an evening run, walk, dash, dance or prance through the two-mile course this year, there are a few COVID-19 changes.
Please read this in its entirety before registering. Race entry fees are non-refundable.
- We will be holding the Tinsel Trot over THREE DAYS
- Maximum capacity of 500 registered participants per day.
- Run Dates:
Friday, November 20th
Saturday, Nov. 21st
Sunday, November 22nd - The course will be open from 5:30 to 8 p.m. There is no official start time, simply show up and run/walk as you wish.
- Online Registration ONLY!
- No race day, on-site registration
- No water station. Bring your own bottle.
- Children 6 and under are free and DO NOT need to be registered.
- No spectators. Only registered participants will be allowed inside the park.
- No After-Party
- Practice Social Distance. Wear a mask when social distancing is not an option.
- Registrations received by Nov. 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. are guaranteed a t-shirt. You will NOT be guaranteed a t-shirt if you register after Nov. 6.
Costumes and festive holiday attire are encouraged but please be sure to show your appropriate arm band (given at T-shirt Pickup) upon entering the park. We are excited to offer this “sneaker preview” of the Celebrate the Season Holiday Driving Tour during the pandemic. **Due to the precautions set in place by Covid-19 races have been capped to a max of 500 participants each night.
Race entry is $10/person (+ processing fee) and includes a free shirt!
Online registration available through Nov. 22, 2020 at 3:30 PM.
Packet pickup takes place Wednesday, November 18 and Thursday, November 19, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Old Santee Canal Park, 900 Stony Landing Road, Moncks Corner. Day of race packet pickup will be 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.
