Due to new regulations on outdoor gatherings the
Hopewell Valley 5K Turkey Trot
has moved to a virtual format
Due to the recent restrictions on outdoor gatherings in New Jersey, we have to move the 2020 Hopewell Turkey Trot to a virtual format. While this is not what we had hoped and planned for, we expect it will still be a fun race with family and friends-just not in a large group.
Mask and bib pick will be available from 5-6 on Monday 11/23 & Tuesday 11/24 as well as from 2-3 on Wednesday 11/25 at Lanciano and Associates, 2 NJ-31 North, Pennington, NJ 08534.
You can time yourself running a 5K anytime between bib pick-up and 12:00 Midnight on November 28, 2020. Once you complete the 5k, log on to Race Roster and record your time. Prizes will be mailed to the top 10 female and top 10 male racers who record their time by the November 28 deadline. In addition, please send us pictures of you competing in Thanksgiving themed attire and our race timer will post the pictures to our website. The best picture will be selected for a special prize! Pictures can be emailed to ajs@racingnj.com.

COVID 19 Precautions/social distance information
We are limiting participants to 400. Staggered start times will be assigned to each registrant. There will be no same day registration. Start times, timing chips and face masks will be provided each registrant prior to race day. Please arrive on time for your start and depart immediately after finishing the race. Please respect 6 feet of distance between participants both on and off the race course.

CANNED GOODS COLLECTION
Keeping in the spirit of the day, there will be a collection table for canned goods if you would like to donate. All items will be sent to a local food pantry.
