Help us raise money

We're Team Flying W's and we are here to raise as much money as we can for Gold Country Wildlife Rescue. Our Team Captain, Chelsea, is on GCWR's Board of Directors and of course her three rescues are also on the team. We've decided to do a 5K (dogs like to do 5K walks, too!) but you can choose your activity - so if walking or running isn't your thing that's okay! We'd love any support we can get, from donations to folks joining our team (the more members the merrier). 

Right now, if it can be done safely, we are hoping to do a 5K "turkey trot" walk on the morning of Thanksgiving Day, and if covid and weather allows, we'll invite all the Team Flying W's members to join for a nice, brisk, socially distanced walk here in Auburn (if you're not local we still would love you to join our team and walk wherever you are!). If not, we can all walk (or run, or read, or bake, or knit, or dance, or paint, or or or...whatever you want to do!) in our different locations, and support one another from afar. No matter what, our goal is to raise money and awareness about the greatest group around, Gold Country Wildlife Rescue! Will you join us?
