This 10k Community Run is an opportunity to reflect upon and support the women and men who serve our country, domestically and internationally, and who have returned home with Operational Stress Injuries.
Monies raised fund life changing mental health programs provided by Wounded Warriors Canada to Canadian Armed Forces members, First Responders and their families.
*** IN PERSON EVENT DETAILS ***
The launch point will be the Wounded Warriors Canada Park of Reflection at Cullen Central Park. Once checked in, participants can proceed at their own pace (and respecting social distancing protocols) to the Whitby Cenotaph 5km away.
Our hope is that participants will engage with the monument, not just admire it from a distance.
Once they have paid their respects, they can return to the Park of Reflection and spend some time in its peaceful environment.
