Run with us from your own neighborhood and support the runners going the distance to bring awareness to the refugee crisis at the Moria Refugee Camp.
Beginning Saturday October 10, 2020, a relay team will run 262.2 miles from Chicago to Springfield, Il. Also, relay teams in Palestine and South Africa will run in solidarity with the Running Refugees. The Refugee Life Foundation is proud to partner with Team Humanity, an NGO stationed at the Moria Camp and is the life source for thousands of refugees who reside there before the camp set fire.
All funds raised from the Running Refugees Relay will go towards Team Humanity and their continued effort to supply refugee families the necessities to survive especially during the winter months ahead.

They need your help!
On September 9, 2020, fires destroyed the Moria Refugee Camp, Greece’s largest migrant camp leaving nearly 13,000 people without access to clean water, medical supplies, food and clothing. A group of concerned citizens are raising funds to support our brothers and sisters severely affected by this tragic event.

- Run any time between October 10 and October 11, 2020.
- Choose your own course....and distance!!!
- Most importantly….have fun and enjoy the time outside!
Follow these easy steps to prepare for your tracking:
TRACKING STEPS 1. Download the ASICS Runkeeper™ app to your phone and create an account or scroll down to log into an existing account Once you have completed your distance in the app, save your workout and it will automatically post to Race Roster results. (This step must be followed from your mobile device) |
VIEWING AND POSTING MANUAL RESULTS If you plan to record using another software or tracking device or post manually from what is recorded on your watch, simply head here and "Submit Virtual Result" between October 10 and October 11, 2020. |
FAQS:
- To record with tracking on the ASICS Runkeeper™ app, you will need to run or walk with your phone or with a connected wearable (see instructions below)
- You do not have to track with these technologies, it is optional!
