The Quincy Family YMCA is excited to announce a new event that will take place Thursday, December 3, 2020. With approval from the Adams County Health Department and sponsorships from Pepsi Refreshment Services, SIU Center for Family Medicine- Quincy, and Festival of Lights, the Y created an event called Dashing through the Lights Fun Run/Walk that will become a new tradition for many families in the tri-state area. This is an opportunity to experience the Festival of Lights on foot, get in the holiday spirit and support two local non-profits; YMCA and Festival of Lights.
Participants must pre-register in selected time slots (limited number of participants allowed following Covid-19 guidelines). The first start time slot is 5:30pm and the last is 9:30pm. All participants will be screened by SIU staff before allowed to participate and required to wear a face covering. Social distancing will also be enforced throughout the event.

This is a rain or shine, non refundable event. In a situation, COVID or blizzard, that we must cancel, the participants will still receive their participation shirts and no refunds will be given.
