Join us for the Philly to Cape May Challenge, a virtual mileage challenge designed to motivate you to run, walk or hike over a 6-week period (November 1st -December 12th) while engaging in friendly competition with your friends and family. This challenge offers both a Beginner Challenge (50 Miles) for those who will complete fewer than 10 miles a week and an Intermediate Challenge (100 Miles) for those who may complete more than 17 miles per week. And while this challenge is mileage-focused, it does include some competitive features that will appeal to runners who love to take it to the next level.
Here's how it works:
Register for the challenge. The cost is $25 and includes your challenge t-shirt. If you just want the shirt and don't want to do the challenge, that's cool as well.
Join either the Beginner-50 Mile Challenge (less than 10 miles per week) or Intermediate-100 Mile Challenge (17 miles or more per week) group.
Run, Walk, Jog, or Hike to accumulate the most miles in 6 weeks. Every step counts. Inside or Outside activity counts. The challenge runs from November 1 - December 12.
Submit your distance each week into the Virtual Results area on the events page. Your distance should be at least as long as the "Distance of the Week" to stay on track to reach your distance goals, but it's ok if it's longer.
Cross your fingers! Each week on Monday we'll pick a random winner from each category to win a prize!
Share with your family and friends! |

FAQ's
When will I receive my shirt?
We will order/ship shirts after the start of the Challenge, so you should receive your shirt around 14 days after the Challenge begins. If more than 3 weeks have passed and you have not received your shirt, please email nickelisano@gmail.com
What is the distance of the week?
The "Distance of the Week" is the estimated total distance you should complete each week to stay on track with your distance goals. Feel free to do more. You will enter your distance in the "Submit Your Activities Here" button on the events page as often as you would like. You may also upload screen shots of your distance and time from your mobile device or activity tracker.
Are there awards?
Rather than do awards and make it overly competitive, we decided we would draw a weekly winner from each category (Beginner and Intermediate) for a prize, to be determined each week. However, we do invite you to engage in the friendly competition for bragging rights with your friends and family. Remember, you do get a sweet shirt!
