This race is a BOGO (buy one, get one) free event. All 5K registrants can participate in the 1 Mile run/walk at no additional cost. Just pick up your extra bib on race day morning. The 1 Mile run/walk begins at 9:00 am, before the 5K. Awards for the 1 Mile run/walk include our normal kid's female/male age group awards of 10 - 12, 9 and under, along with cash awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place adult female/male finishers.
- Registration fees: $17.00 GCRC Members, $18.00 Non-Members, 1 Mile - $10.00 - age 12 and under participants
- 100 participant limit per COVID 19 Executive Order 1525 - Social Gatherings and Events
- Wearing a mask or face covering is strongly encouraged.
- Both distances are fast, flat, out and back USATF certified courses. 1 Mile - MS 11032 MS, 5K - MS11006 MS
- Eligible for MS State Records in running.
- Regular age group and overall awards for the 5K.
- Refreshments and beverages following the event for participants.
