Morgantown Running 5k Turkey Trot 2020

TIME 8:30 a.m. 800m Turkey Fun Run (kids under 12) sponsored by MedExpress

We will have two sections for the Kids 800m run. Kids under 5 will run in the first heat. Kids 5 and older will run in the second heat.

9:00 a.m. 5k Run/Walk

COURSE The course will begin at the WVU track and continue down the hill toward Star City. Runners turn right at Sheetz, and then take an immediate left toward the Mon River trail. The course then enters onto the trail and ends at Morgantown Running/Seneca Center.

OR the RAIL TRAIL (TBD)

TRANSPORTATION NO SHUTTLE BUS WILL BE PROVIDED THIS YEAR

PARKING Please park at the WVU Track or Morgantown Running. We cannot provide transportation.

REGISTRATION / PACKET PICK-UP Registration and packet pick-up for the Turkey Trot will be at MORGANTOWN RUNNING on Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 4-6 p.m. DAY OF registration and packet pick-up IS possible on Thursday morning 7:00-8:30 a.m.

TIMING Parks Timing

PRIZES 5k Run: Top 3 male and top 3 female finishers. 5k Walk: The top male and female will receive a a prize! *All winners must be present. We will post race results in appropriate age categories.

Random drawings from Morgantown Running-- Shoes and great prizes!

SOCKS Up to 400 runners/walkers will receive a pair of socks.

**DONATION-Thanksgiving is a great time for giving to those in need. THE PANTRY PLUS MORE IS IN NEED OF GENTLY WORN ATHLETIC SHOES. WE WILL HAVE BOX TO COLLECT THEM AT ANYTIME LEADING UP TO THE RACE.
