Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer mortality among all races and both genders yet receives the least amout of federal funding for cancer research. The fund run is sponsored each year in honor of Brooke Ellefsen, who was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer in 2016.
2020 has been a crazy year! We were so hoping to hold the event in person. Since this was not to be, we invite you to participate virtually throughout the month of November, lung cancer awareness month. Registration will be open through the end of the month and we will have two live packet pick up days, details TBA, for packet pick up. We would love for you to share your photos with us so we can share them on social media!
We have been so blessed over the last four years and to have Brooke be where she is now is nothing short of a miracle. This year, the funds raised will be donated to a local family to help offset medical costs!
