11th Annual Rudolph Run:
Virtual 5K, 10K, Relaxing Reindeer
The Race Must Go On! The Pontotoc Juniorettes Club, those high school students that you have seen directing your turns and handing out water along the route in years past, will host the race this year. They have decided to host our 11th Annual Rudolph Run as a virtual run. This option comes as some areas are seeing a rise in Covid cases. We want to keep everyone safe while enjoying the outdoors and the love of running. This also allows Pontotoc natives across the globe and others who would like to help support our charities a chance to be a part of our local community's effort to raise money for children's charities, including Palmer Home for Children and Banah Free Clinic.
Complete your run by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, and log your time. All times must be logged by this time to qualify for a reward.

- Palmer Home for Children is located in North Mississippi and serves as our most local foster care system of its kind. Join us as we raise awareness and funding for this worthy charity.
- Banah Free Clinic is a free resource clinic offering compassionate support for those facing the difficult decisions involved in unplanned pregnancy situations.
- The Pontotoc Juniorettes Club is a division of the Pontotoc Woman's Club. Our club is comprised of high school students across Pontotoc County who dive into projects that focus on our youth while helping our communities thrive. A small portion of our profits will serve as the means to kick off our 2021 Charity Ball: "Mask-erade". Watch for more details to come as we continue to raise money for the two charities above through this second event!
The Rudolph Run will award top runners in a wide range of age groups, as well as the runner who has registered from the farthest distance from Pontotoc county.
Registration will be online until Saturday, December 12, at noon. Local cross-country team members may register at the special $16 rate. T-shirts will be ordered for anyone registering before December 4. All others will be granted as supplies last.
*We have had interest in purchasing more t-shirts from non-runners. Register for the "Relaxing Reindeer" if you are interested in only purchasing a t-shirt that will be in by Christmas but not by race day. If we have enough interest, runners can also be added to this extra list.
Local runners may pick up their t-shirt on Saturday, December 12, from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. at the Pontotoc Chamber of Commerce. We will set up pick-up sites in Tupelo, New Albany, and Oxford with dates to be announced. A shipping fee of $2.00 is automatically added at checkout. If picking up your shirt, please enter the code TEEPICKUP in the discount box at the bottom of that page.
