Help us raise money

A dollar here a ten there, I know that "my" people can easily help me reach a goal of $1000.

The benefit of helping those on the fringe of society to become productive moms, dads, brothers, and sisters not only benefits them but us as well. 

I've been following the work of Homeboy Industries for a while and I am so thankful for the man (Mr. G) that started what I couldn't so long ago. 

I bet you didn't know that I wanted to go into Sociology and Prison Reform in college right?  I visited jails and spoke to wardens and in the end I just couldn't see how I could make a difference.   Man, I wish, the 49yr old me could tell the 19yr old me not to give up. 

I bet you also didn't know that I have two cousins that have been in prison for over 15yrs.  It's so incredibly hard on our entire family but even more so for my aunt, uncle and cousins. 

I do believe in paying for your debt to society but I also believe in presenting those who want it, the opportunity to change and succeed, which Homeboy Industries does with amazing compassion and commitment. 

I would love for you to join us on the race but I would love it even more if you could donate to reach my goal.
