Made in the Shade 5K Run/Walk
One hundred percent of proceeds will go toward service projects the Rotary Club of Flowood does in the area, including age-appropriate dictionaries for second graders at several Rankin elementary schools; a multi-partner drive to send goody boxes to our overseas military; two $1,000 service-based scholarships for students from Hartfield Academy and Northwest Rankin High School; feeding all finishers of the annual 9/11 Memorial Run around the Ross Barnett Reservoir. The Rotary Club of Flowood will donate a minimum of $1000 from the Made in the Shade 5K Run/Walk to the 172nd Airlift Wing’s Family Relief Fund, so you’re running or walking for a good cause. The Rotary of Flowood meets each Tuesday at noon at Table 100 Restaurant of Flowood.
