Off the Beaten Path Trail Run
5K Walk/Run 10K Run
* This event will follow all safety protocols of NS Public Health and Run NS guidelines. Social distancing will be followed (6 feet) in this event and you are encouraged to have a mask with you at all times, and wear it when in situations where physical distancing is difficult to maintain. Thank you for your cooperation.
All within the quaint Town of Bridgewater. You will be surrounded by majestic pines and colorful maples as you move along the route. This 5K route offers a variety of trail surfaces including rail trail, crusher dust trail, sidewalk and wooded trail (uneven surface with rocks and roots). Gentle elevations. Those wanting to run 10K will repeat the loop.
Awards: The first 50 participant will receive a welcome package with an event buff and chances for random draw prizes.
Post Run Food: Snack bag and bottled water.
Water Stations: Start/finish only.
Safety: No dogs. No headphones. No strollers. Two street crossings. Obey pedestrian rules. First Aid.
Refund: No refunds. Transfers permitted.
Parking: Free on-site parking.
Warmup: Zumba warmup before the run.
Showers: There is one shower in each bathroom.
Fundraising: Part of your registration is in support of the Bridgewater Baptist Church Building Fund and PRO Kids.
