My Story…
In honor of my dad, Tom Kurvers, I am raising money to help fight lung cancer.
A Breath of Hope is a very important organization to my family and I. We first got involved when my dad was diagnosed in January 2019. The lung run is such an uplifting time to come together for the cause.
Please consider donating to Team Kurvers and help us fight lung cancer.
#TeamKurvers & #TKstrong continues in his legacy.
"It's a terrible stigma that is attached to lung cancer," Kurvers said. "Lung cancer kills more people than breast, colon and prostate cancers combined. It has a stigma of being a smoker's cancer, but 50 percent of the people who are diagnosed are not smokers."
"It's not often any more that we can all get together for a day, not as often as I'd like it to."
"This is four or five hours together that we can always remember."
