Our story…
I am participating in the A Breath of Hope Lung Run/Walk Twin Cities Saturday, August 14th at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis to raise money for A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation. A Breath of Hope fights lung cancer - America's deadliest cancer - through research, education, and patient and family support such as rides to treatment for those who face cancer alone.
I started a team so others can participate and fundraise with me to change U.S lung canceroutcomes. Will you join me and be part of my team? Just over 18% survive this cancer and research is terribly underfunded due to the smoking stigma that is inaccurate and unkind. Half of those diagnosed each year are nonsmokers like me.
