My Story...
I am fortunate to have spent the last 30 years sharing the love and laughter, sunshine and stars with the incredible kids and counselors that create the magic of Camp Ooch.
COVID can’t stop camp! Programs continue today and every day, reaching isolated kids and families all across Ontario. Yes, the last year has definitely been different - but we've been Together, Wherever We Are - and despite the challenges we're all facing - camp has continued, bringing friendship and fun to both our campers and volunteers!
As we look to the summer - we are hopeful that in-person Family Camps will be possible - while also running virtual programs for those families who can't join us on site. It's a year like no other we need all the help we can get to support these incredible kids and their families.

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant.
For affected kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Camp Ooch offers a hopeful journey, where kids with cancer can just be kids, and families connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.
They are much more than a summer camp—they offer the social cure for childhood cancer. Their camp-inspired programs deliver fun, friendship, and community to 1,900 kids and 745 families year-round, all across Ontario. As a response to COVID-19, virtual camp and in-hospital programs continue to reach kids and families living in isolation, wherever they are.
