Presented by Credit Unions for Kids
What is a Virtual 5K?
A virtual 5k is an activity that can be completed at any time in ANY location of the participant’s choice.
What is the St. Paddy’s 5K?
Credit Unions for Kids presents the St. Paddy’s 5k each March to celebrate the St. Patrick’s holiday and support Children’s of Mississippi, the state’s only children’s hospital. So, not only will you going to get some awesome race swag for your participation in the 5k, but your registration fee will also go towards a great, local cause. Children’s of Mississippi is committed to providing state-of-the-art care to any child in need. No child is ever turned away for any reason, including ability to pay.
Not much of a runner?
No problem! The St. Paddy’s 5K can be completed by running, biking, walking or any other physical activity that allows you to complete the mileage. Our event is about providing you with the motivation to achieve your personal goals, whatever those may be. So, yes. Complete the 5K however you would like!
Who can participate?
Anyone and everyone. You can complete your 5K alone or with a group - It is completely up to you! Just get out and get moving!
How do I log my miles?
The St. Paddy’s 5K believes in the honor system, so no proof is required for your race completion. However, feel free to post pictures, videos, etc. to social media using the hashtag #StPaddys21 to share your experience with other participants who are completing the 5K.
When is the St. Paddy’s 5k?
The race period will begin on March 1, 2021 and will last all the way through March 27, 2021. Complete your miles and celebrate the holiday anytime during that period!
