Conditions to Participate |
NOTE: To adhere to COVID-19 safe practices, the 2021 races will have a staggered start: Marathon participants can start anytime between 6:45-6:55 a.m. and Half Marathon participants can start anytime between at 7:00-7:10 a.m. Both races share a finish line, therefore Marathon runners will follow the chute to the left of the finish line to proceed with the second loop and Half Marathon runners will follow the chute to the right to cross the finish line. Marathon participants will complete the second loop by following the chute to the right to cross the finish.
The safety of our runners, volunteers and spectators is key. In the event of continuing COVID-19 requirements, we will adhere to the most current Tennessee Pledge safety protocols based on the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Tennessee Department of Health and Madison County Health Department. Please note that portions of the course will be open to traffic, portions will have lane closures and major intersection crossings will have police protection. As you run along the course, please be aware of your surroundings and runners around you to help ensure the safety of all participants. There will be a 6.5 hour time limit on the course.

The race start and finish is located in downtown Jackson at the West Tennessee Farmer's Market, just a couple of blocks from public parking areas with plenty of free parking. As the race will be taking place on Saturday morning, the Farmer's Market will be full of vendors with everything from food trucks to fresh vegetables, meats, dairy and many other items. The Farmer's Market will follow COVID-19 safety measures, hence masks must be worn and social distancing must be observed.

Beary Best Friends Donation Drop-off |
The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse provides services to all of rural West Tennessee. Our goal is to provide each child with a Beary Best Friend as it’s such an important part of the healing process for that child. Finisher Medals and Awards |
All Run AJM Jackson participants who cross the finish line will receive finisher medals. Awards will be given for Run AJM Jackson Male and Female Overall, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+) and top 3 in each age category.

REFUNDS
Many of the costs of this race have been paid out or planned based on the number of registrations. Therefore, race registration fees are not refundable under any circumstances; race registrations are not transferable to other participants. Please consider these factors carefully before completing your registration.
