Concussion Legacy Foundation

Raise money for Concussion Legacy Foundation

The Concussion Legacy Foundation is leading the fight against concussions and CTE and dedicated to improving the lives those impacted.

Concussions and CTE have been underappreciated for too long. The Foundation’s mission is to support athletes, Veterans, and all affected by concussions and CTE; achieve smarter sports and safer athletes through education and innovation; and to End CTE through prevention and research.

Runners are raising funds to support programs like:

  1. The CLF HelpLine, which provides one-on-one support, resources, peer-to-peer mentors, and medical referrals to patients and families struggling with mental health.
  2. Project Enlist, powered by Wounded Warrior Project, which serves as a catalyst for critical research on TBI, PTSD, and CTE for active duty and military Veterans.
  3. The VA-BU-CLF Brain Bank, the world’s leading CTE research program made possible by over 1,000 Legacy Donors, from whom we are learning how to prevent and treat CTE and other consequences of brain trauma.

VICE Sports said CLF is “most responsible for making CTE part of the national conversation” and Sports Illustrated said the CLF team “looms behind the doctors and the headlines and the debate roiling over sports' newfound commitment to minimizing head trauma.” To learn more, visit our annual report, our founder's TED Talk and a Malcolm Gladwell podcast about CLF's impact.
