Let's pick up the pace to end childhood brain cancer!
My race will look quite a bit different this year, but the inspiration remains the same. My daughter, Abby, passed away at the age of 6 from a deadly brain tumor. It is Abby and all the children who have passed away from or who are currently battling brain cancer that provide me the inspiration to participate in the 2021 Cleveland Marathon as a Sunflower Strider.
Instead of running, I will be walking the 10K (6.2 miles) distance. Each step will be filled with HOPE in the mission that goes beyond the finish line -- ending childhood cancer!
