Help Emma raise money

Every year I run in the Calgary Marathon for Meow Foundation, this year my husband and I are doing the 10k and as a charity we have 30 runners doing everything from 5km to 50km!! We hope to raise at least $15,000.  MEOW runs three main programs: Rescue and Adoption,  Trap-Neuter-Return, and Spay-Neuter Assistance. While most people know us for our rescue  and adoption program, each of our core programs serves an important purpose in improving the  lives of cats in the Calgary community. We’re also exploring options for our own veterinary  practice to help us get our cats the vet care they need more quickly while reducing vet costs.

Captain HOEK (Handsome One-Eyed Kitty) came to us with a badly infected eye which had to be  removed.

Gluhwein arrived at MEOW as a five-year-old stray. Due to living on the street and having to fight for  survival, Gluhwein has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). During his time at the shelter, we also  learned he was diabetic; he is currently in remission, but diabetes can reoccur. He is currently available  for adoption.

Herbert arrived at MEOW after living rough for years. He had entropion eye, a painful condition where  the eyelid is inside out and eyelashes rub against the surface of the eye, as well as dental disease.  Thanks to generous supporters, he had surgery for his eye as well as two dental surgeries.
