Thank you for supporting my mission to bring more trees and joy to the world! 

My story:

I am a tagaru goat living in India. 

I was born in January 2021 right next to the tree nursery, where the afforestation program, #5milliontrees is based. My goat mother couldn't give me milk as a baby, so I was fed by a bottle thanks to my 2 legged friends. 

I became the mascot of #5milliontrees because I follow my 2 legged friend around every day as she waters or checks the trees. People smile when they see me do my work . So, this has become my mission: to make people smile and bring joy to their hearts.

I walked on 19th September for #5milliontrees because I love trees so much.  Trees give me shade on a very hot day and they give homes to so many of my bird friends. Trees have delicious leaves on them and I love to eat the crunchy dried leaves that have dropped. Trees make goats like me so happy.

This includes fruit trees like mango, guava, chikku, Indian gooseberry, jackfruit and lime. Sacred trees like banyan, bodhi and neem. Medicinal trees like ashoka and Indian almond trees.
