Help us raise money

For participating in Scotiabank Calgary Marathon 2021

Our story…

In the summer of 2014 my daughter was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease or Overlap. This means she has a few different autoimmune diseases including Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Myositis and Raynaud phenomenon. Jocelyn has had lots of ups and downs over the years since being diagnosed but the most consistent thing has been the amazing doctors and nurses that have helped us in that time. At many of her appointments I had noticed a flyer for the 2021 Juvenile Arthritis run/walk and decided this year we would be participating to raise money and awareness. Cassie and Friends Society have been wonderful at fundraising for a pain free future for children living with Juvenile Arthritis and this is our chosen charity we are running for. Myself, Jocelyn and some good friends will be running in the Scotiabank marathon and are asking  for your support by donating to the Cassie and Friends Society on our behalf to help them in supporting a pain free future for Jocelyn and kids just like her. Thank You.
