Run Calgary invites you to be a part of Calgary's only Halloween Night Race. This is a family-friendly and pet-friendly event and a beloved Halloween tradition for families.

We invite you to take part in Calgary's only Halloween night race, where the aid stations serve candy and there are prizes for being dead last. Join us and come dressed up in your creative costumes. Don't forget the costume for your pooch, because the dog with the best costume will be featured on the medals and shirts for next year!
Race virtually
October 24-31, 2021 - Virtual
Your virtual run or walk can be completed anywhere, on any surface (trail, road, treadmill, track), and anytime during the race period.
We encourage virtual racers to track their run using RunKeeper, where your results will automatically sync with your Race Roster account and right onto the Results Leaderboard. Alternatively, you can choose to screen capture (not mandatory) any fitness app or watch (Garmin, Strava, Fitbit etc.) and manually upload you time. All registered participants will receive detailed instructions for completing their virtual race prior to the start of the race period
For all racers
Whether you're participating virtually or in-person, all costumes, both human and pets, will be eligible for awards! The best dog costume will win a prize package and, most importantly, they will be featured on the 2022 medal and shirt! If you're participating virtually, don't forget to tag @RunCalgary in your social media posts!

GST & Processing Fees
Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.
Refund Policy
- Entry fees are non-refundable. No exceptions.
- No race day registration or race changes. No refunds, transfers, medical comps or deferrals.
- Run Calgary has partnered with RegShield and you can purchase a protection policy on your registration if you have to cancel or can't make the event. RegShield is a protection product made for athletes by athletes. It provides coverage for 17 different roadblocks. These are the reasons that most athletes are unable to compete in their events. - Should the race not be able to go ahead because of local and provincial restrictions due to the pandemic or for any other reason, all registrants will automatically be converted into a virtual event
