Please check your spam before you email info@runcalgary.com if you can't find the VIP Sport Chek discount email that went out to registered participants on May 4 (May 7 for anyone who registered after 6:45 a.m. on May 4).
If you registered AFTER 4:00 p.m. on May 7, you will get your exclusive Sport Chek discount emailed from info@runcalgary.com on May 9 by end of day.
The VIP exclusive discount is valid from May 6 to May 10 at 11:59 p.m. MT.
This year, the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk & Ride is going virtual and we're taking it across the country!
It’s all the fun for a good cause you’re used to with the well-loved Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk & Ride, but virtual! You can now choose your route, your pace and your distance and then you have three days to complete your virtual race. The Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Ride really is for everyone, everywhere.
While your race may look a little different this year, the spirit of the event is true to its roots.
For nearly five decades, the Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Ride has been one of Calgary’s largest family fundraising events supporting both Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities and the Calgary Health Foundation - Foothills NICU.
This year, participants can still expect swag bags, awesome prizing, and many other surprises along the way and throughout the virtual race window from Friday May 7 to Sunday May 9, Mother’s Day.
While virtual this year, we’re proud to honour these past traditions and we look forward to building some new traditions together.

Refund Policy
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
- All registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds, transfers, medical comps or deferrals under any circumstances.
GST and Processing Fees
Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee, plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.
Virtual Race Information
Run your race, your pace.... anytime and any place!
Purchase your registration between Feb 1, 2021 and April 12, 2021 and select to pick up your swag curbside or have it shipped directly to you for a small fee, whether it is one virtual race package or you are signing up the whole family who live in the same household.
Run, walk or wheel your 5K or 10K all at one time or cumulatively during the race window between Friday, May 7 to Sunday, May 9.
We encourage registered participants to track their run using RunKeeper, where your results will automatically sync with your Race Roster account and right onto the leaderboard.
Alternatively, screen capture any fitness app or watch (Garmin, Strava, Fitbit etc.) and manually upload your time to the leaderboard.
All registered participants will receive detailed instructions for completing their virtual race prior to the start of the race period.
Be sure to capture many moments and share your journey to the start line and Mother's Day Run, Walk and Ride using the #FindWhatMovesYou and tagging @sportchek to be eligible great prizes.
