Did you know that Alberta has a higher than average preterm birth rate compared to the rest of the country? In Alberta, 1 in 8 newborns require the critical care of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, compared to Canada's average of 1 in 10. 

By supporting Calgary Health Foundation's Newborns Need Campaign, we are working towards every family hearing, "You can take your baby home today".  

I am lucky to personally know and love many young families in Calgary. To me, supporting the Newborns Need campaign means that I'm helping to ensure all families in my community have access to innovative and compassionate care, newly researched techniques, and cutting edge equipment.
