My Story…
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am excited to be running in the Falmouth Road Race to support the Herren Project. My husband, Mike started the Herren Project at his school this year. The students were eager to join the Herron Club and begin supporting their school community. I am thankful to be able to join such a wonderful community of people and RUN to raise money to continue their dedicated efforts.
Description
Herren Project is a national nonprofit organization providing free resources and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder.
Services include:
- treatment placement assistance
- long-term recovery support for individuals and families
- online support groups
- prevention & wellness initiatives
- scholarships for treatment, recovery housing, & recovery coaching
Herren Project was founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player, Chris Herren, who has been in long-term recovery since August 1, 2008. Together we recover...as we support, inspire & empower those affected by substance use disorder. www.herrenproject.org
