Help Ashley raise money

My sister and I are very excited to announce that we will be running the 2021 Falmouth Road Race with Team Ellie in support of the Ellie Fund this August. The Ellie Fund is an amazing non-profit organization, which provides assistance to breast cancer patients residing in Massachusetts by providing services that include: grocery assistance, transportation, housekeeping, childcare reimbursement, meals and therapy services. They are committed to supporting patients and allowing them to recover and heal, by helping families with their financial responsibilities.

Alyson and I have been affected by cancer pretty much our entire lives, having several family members get diagnosed with this horrible disease, including our mother who passed away at age 44 when we were teenagers. We have since then always enjoyed participating and planning different fundraising events, including our annual golf tournament that we plan each fall with our father.

We learned about the Ellie Fund and all the wonderful services that they provide in 2019 when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at age 31. The financial responsibility of a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, during an already difficult time. The Ellie Fund helps ease the minds of those affected by giving assistance to families in need, including my own, so that we can work on what matters most; getting healthy!
