My Story…
I am raising money for the Mental Health Collaborative. All of us know people affected with mental health disorders. Anxiety and depression run rampant in our young adults, friends, and loved ones. I had reconstructive foot surgery five months ago and believe if I can, you can…
The Mental Health Collaborative is a non profit organization dedicated to teaching members of communities mental health literacy. They help communities understand how to optimize and maintain good mental health, understand mental disorders and their treatments, and help decrease the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
With the Pandemic continuing to affect our country, there has been a rise in anxiety, depression, eating disorders and suicide in our young adults. We must do something to stop this.
Please consider donating to this important cause. The livelihood of our communities depends upon it.
Mental Health Literacy
…is the knowledge and understanding that helps us become responsible, effective, and successful in living full and healthy lives. With good mental literacy we learn how to take better care of ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities.
The 4 Components of Mental Health Literacy
Description
We believe that with education and awareness, we can work together to decrease stigma and open the door to conversations about mental illness. Our mission is to build informed, resilient communities through education and awareness. We hope to improve mental health literacy in as many communities as we can.
