Help Carolyn raise money

Welcome to my fundraising page!  My name is Carolyn and I am a mom of 2 boys, Aiden, (8) and Andrew, (5) who were born with severe hemophilia A.  While there are many challenges to life with a bleeding disorder, we have been blessed with support from a local organization, the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA).  The people we have met through NEHA have become our family.  My husband Jeff and I would be lost without the education and programing provided by NEHA, as well as the support and understanding from fellow parents.  Our sons have the unique opportunity to get to know others with a bleeding disorder, sharing in their common experiences and have already begun to form life-long friendships with their blood brothers.  

I will be running the Falmouth Road Race for two important reasons.  The first is in support of an organization that has given my family so much.  Without NEHA, we would not have the hope and comfort of knowing our boys will lead healthy, fulfilled lives, despite their bleeding disorder.  My second reason for running is to set a positive example for my sons.  Living a healthy, active lifestyle is so important for their muscles and joint health.  It is my honor to represent them and all those living with a bleeding disorder and raise money to support NEHA's important work.
