My Story…
I have seen the way mental illness and substance abuse disorder can impact individuals and the people who love them. I am a firm believer that educating our children, teachers, parents, and community health workers on how to cope with mental health challenges that permeate our day-to-day lives will strengthen our communities at large.
Mental Health Collaborative empowers communities through awareness and education by providing a variety of programs for all age groups and community members teaching Mental Health Literacy. Gaining mental health literacy helps us understand and destigmatize mental disorders and treatments while promoting and optimizing good mental health.
