My Story…
For the second consecutive year, I am participating in the 7 mile Falmouth Road Race at the end of August to benefit the KeepSmilin4Abbie Foundation, an organization funding research to stop anaphylaxis. This cause is very close to my heart as our son, Dylan, has a peanut allergy. We discovered his allergy when he was 11 months old and had a severe reaction to peanut butter. He was given epinephrine, an antihistamine, and steroids, and was able to recover. Many of you may know my close friend Julie also has a peanut allergy and has had too many close encounters with anaphylaxis. The amazing work that KeepSmilin4Abbie is doing will be life saving for people with severe allergies; all in the name of a special young woman from my town of Hopkinton (Abbie Benford).
Donate to help Kimberly raise money for The 2021 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
