My Story…
Dear family and friends,
Ever since I was little, I have fond memories of watching my parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins run the famous Falmouth Road Race. I am incredibly excited to follow in their footsteps and compete in the 2021 Falmouth Road Race. Even better, I have the privilege of continuing my family's commitment to helping others by raising money for an important charity, Dignity Matters, a non-profit that supports 8,000 homeless & low income women and girls each month with free feminine care products.
Dignity Matters’ (DM) mission is to assist homeless women and girls by providing free underwear and feminine hygiene products. Through DM's action, women/girls regain self-confidence and dignity by staying healthy and clean. Furthermore, distributing free period protection products boosts school attendance for teen girls. Food Stamps cannot be used to purchase expensive pads and tampons.
I am running the Falmouth Road Race for Dignity Matters because I am deeply passionate about the mission of providing free period products to women and girls in need. I hope you will consider donating to raise awareness and funds to help support period poverty in the greater Boston community. 100% of your donation goes directly to women in need - thank you for your support!
With love,
Emma
