As part of the Marisa's Mission Team, I am running for a cause very close to my heart – helping those navigating the emotional and physical toll of a cancer diagnosis. Witnessing far too many of my loved ones have to fight this battle themselves, including my own Mom who passed away from breast cancer at the young age of 61, I know how devastating a cancer diagnosis can be to both the individual and their family. Raising money to assist those dealing with these unimaginable circumstances so that they can better focus on their health and time spent with their loved ones is paramount.
