I am really excited to be fundraising for Best Buddies this year. If you don't know much about Best Buddies, it really is one of the best organizations in the world. 

There are a lot of great nonprofits but when you think about the impact that Best Buddies has every day on our community and world-wide, it's hard to think of a better place to donate to.

Best Buddies empowers the special abilities of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by helping them: 

• Form meaningful friendships with their peers
• Secure successful jobs
• Live independently
• Improve public speaking
• Self-advocacy and communication skills 
• Feel valued by society
