My Story…
I'm honored to be running the 2021 Falmouth Road Race for the Heart Warrior Foundation this year!
Every year in the United States about 40,000 babies are born with a Congenital Heart Defect. Roughly 10,000 of these cases are critical. The Heart Warrior Foundation supports families affected by CHDs through fundraising, education and awareness. It was founded by 2 local families who were personally affected when their babies were born with heart defects. This past year Genevieve DiFava, daughter of founding member Matt DiFava, passed away at the age of just 7 years old.
