Fundraising for Cures!
In February 2020, my sister Caroline got news that would forever change her. Without much warning, she found herself in the hospital thinking she was about to have an emergency appendectomy. It was then we were told she had Crohn’s disease. After a week of treatment and learning from doctors and nurses, Caroline was ready to take this on. She has been a wonder since that first night. She has not once complained. She goes to her 8-week infusions with a smile and is facing this with her chin up. She has responded well to treatment and is living a normal life.
Please help support our family Team (Caroline, Tommy, Patiricia, John and myself) as we will all run the 7.1 mile a Falmouth Road Race. We will join 8000 other runners running for various causes, but we’ll be running to raise money for the Crohn’s and Colitis foundation. Advancing treatment - and hopefully one day prevention - is our goal.
